Thomas Edward "Tom Ed" Hart, 84, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, died on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at his home. He was retired, after working for the State of Louisiana. There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, from 12:00 noon until funeral services at 2:00 pm, conducted by Pastor Dick Metz. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lynette Leteff Hart; one daughter, Laura Hart Cramer and husband Chris Cramer; one son, William "Al" Hart and wife Lori Freeman Hart; five grandchildren: Misty Langley, Mallory Bobo, Jarrett Cramer, Ashley Hart, and Thomas Hart; and five great-grandchildren: Coleman Langley, Hayden Cramer, Houston Cramer, Kix Bobo, and Knox Bobo. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bellinger "Sweet" Hart and Rita Carmena Hart; and brother William Barry Hart. He was a member of the US Army. He collected vintage and antiques, especially antique cars. He loved animals. His saying was that "he loved the odd and unusual." He loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
