WIGGINS, VIONEL C. A carpenter and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 12:17 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at Summit Hospital. He was 52 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Family Worship Center on Bluebonnet Boulevard on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Religious service at the church at 11 a.m., conducted by Dave Smith. Interment in Winnfield Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife, Weader C. Wiggins; father, Ernest M. Wiggins; stepmother, Leola Wiggins; two daughters, Taranza Barnett and Toshia Brown, both of Baton Rouge; two sons, Tymothi Barnett of St. Louis, Mo., and Vladimir Wiggins of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Amelia and Janelle Wiggins, Carrie Williams and Lynn Gremillion, all of Baton Rouge; three brothers, Sandford, Jerome and Harry Wiggins, all of Baton Rouge; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Wiggins; four brothers, Wayne, Fred, Larry and Eric Wiggins; and a daughter, Tova Barnett. Pallbearers will be Kerry Gremillion II, Cedric Gremillion, Tymothi Barnett, James Brown, Khalid Rashdeen and Derek Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Sandford Wiggins, Kerry Gremillion, Alvin Williams, Jerry Williams, Thomas Vernell and Clarence Kimble. He was truly a man of God. Winnfield Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
