Winona Marionneaux Boudreaux passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Baton Rouge. She was 89 years old and a lifelong resident of Plaquemine until moving to Baton Rouge to live with her daughter. Winona was a retired educator with the Iberville Parish School System with 40 years of service. She earned her first degree from Southwestern Louisiana Institute (now ULL), then went on to earn her Masters and 30+ from LSU. Visitation will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine on Saturday, January 15, 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. Entombment will follow in Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum. Winona is survived by children, Kim Alison Boudreaux, Rex Randal Boudreaux and wife Sophia "Leisa"; grandchildren, Brad Christopher Boudreaux (Caitlin) and Ryan Patrick Boudreaux; great-grandchild, John Beckett Boudreaux; siblings, Maxine Martha Marionneaux, Rhett Edward Wade Marionneaux Sr., Howard "Happy" Marionneaux; in-laws, Carol Ann Marionneaux and Patsy Marionneaux. Winona was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Joseph Boudreaux Jr.; parents, Walter "Son" Jr. and Sylvie Patureau Marionneaux; siblings, Melwyn Barker, Harry Marionneaux, Robert Marionneaux, Walter Wayne Marionneaux and Patricia Stassi Nelson. Pallbearers will be Brett Stassi, Bill Barker, Mark Marionneaux, Brad Boudreaux, Ryan Boudreaux and Rob Marionneaux. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine. Please share memories online at www.wilbertservices.com.
